Abra Health Office brings services to Tineg villagers

TINEG, Abra, Jan. 27(PIA) -- The Provincial Health Office conducted Kilatis Kutis Consultation (KKC), urine screening under the Renal Disease Control Program (REDCOP) and various health advocacies in two villages here recently

PHO KKC and REDCOP coordinator Dr. Lilibeth Martin gave free ointments, soaps and medicines to the residents with skin diseases and UTI.

"We are here to bring other health services or programs of the government. Let us not focus on a single problem because there are more health issues that are needed to be faced and looked into. Let us cooperate and fight as one. We will win this battle." Martin stressed.Joy Dela Cruz, a 32-year-old housewife from Sitio Tapayen, Barangay Alaoa, thanked the PHO team for the health services they offered.

"Thank you for the free medicines and checkup you offered to us here in our far-flung barangay. Through your health advocacies, we are able to know more on how to take care of ourselves especially in our health concerns. We appreciate it a lot." Dela Cruz said.

Meanwhile, Police Corporal Angelina Ananayo of the Tineg Municipal Police Station lectured on anti-bullying, anti-drug and terrorism awareness to the children and adults during the program.
